• A request for a unique side table? No problem, except the request came from an Architectural Project Manager with a love of aviation; an uber-creative person who also happens to be one of my very best friends! Yikes, right?! Drawing on that, he challenged be to see what I could come up with. He has a connection with the TWA Terminal restoration project at JFK Airport, so when I saw their sign it was the light-bulb moment. The top of the table is the shape of the TWA sign with his initials mimicking the TWA logo. The base is meant to look like an airplane wing strut, anchored by a teardrop shaped bottom reminiscent of a fuel tank. Intended as a mock-up, it looks good enough to use and it is! A table with a great story.
